John Blanchfield

John Blanchfield

John fell in love with songs in Brisbane in 1963 when he heard The Beatles and "live" music via The Twilights at Garry Spry's club, Pinocchio's, in Melbourne in 1965. Soon after deciding to be a Pop singer in 1966 he was one. By 1971 he'd realised that he was no Johnny or Normie, so slipped over to the vacant space called "Management". The music business and the extra-ordinary folk who inhabit it (and some who've moved on) have allowed him to pursue that love of songs and live performance through five decades. In John's words "It's time to put a little back and Support Act is the perfect vehicle".
